Biography

Martin is an Electronic Engineer with over 7 years of experience in the IT, Automation, project management and the Insurance sector. He has worked in positions as a Risk Engineer, Artificial Vision and Automation Engineer, Project Engineer, and in the ICT industry He worked as a service desk analyst, service desk Team Leader and business analyst for the largest oilfield services company Schlumberger, back in his home country and the Middle East. He is now following a dual Master degree in Master of Global Project Management and Master of Business Administration at Torrens University Australia.

Martin is certified in ITIL, Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP), Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS), and SCRUM Agile and he is in the process of pursuing the Project Management Professional (PMP) certification. He is a student member of the Association of Project Management (APM), the Association of Engineering, Project and Production Management (EPPM) and the Project Management Institute (PMI) – Melbourne Chapter. Through his roles at volunteering, Martin has worked for the Red Cross Australia in Melbourne in the Search of Safety education program, contributing in social projects that serve the community using technology.

Martin worked in several internal projects for Schlumberger such as the Dow Jones integration project, the Transportation Management System (TMS) dashboard integration, and the SAP IT Transformation (SAP-ITT). Additionally, He has been awarded for being the winner for designing the Global IT Service Desk website.

Across his work experience Martin has gained skills and knowledge in different sectors of the engineering market. However, He is passionate about the academy and project management, therefore He is actually working as a student ambassador of his university and He is really focused on the research sector especially on the Lean and Agile perspectives and its implementations.
