Deen is a passionate program manager leading complex technology transformation programs. He has delivered large projects in Energy, Telecommunication and Banking industry over 10+ years in Australia. In his current engagement at ANZ Wealth led the program to migrate more than 200 interfaces, 30+ applications into new Tibco platform. At Optus, delivered the National Emergency Warning System program, a $10M initiative for Australian Government. This location-based system can send SMS to the people passing through the natural disaster zones. He has gained mastery level competency in translating business strategy into technology roadmaps, program phasing and tailoring delivery methodologies.
Deen actively participates in industry-based research in areas such as Agile transformations, collaboration, cultural diversity, context-based governance and social complexity. He is also involved in a mentoring program for novice project managers. Dr Syed has obtained a PhD in Project Complexity from University of Technology Sydney (UTS), in 2016.
