Deborah was appointed as the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer for ICCPM on the 12th of August 2014. In this role she is responsible for all aspects of the business including financial performance (P&L), delivery of the board approved strategy, governance, operations and stakeholder relations. Prior to taking over the role of MD/CEO she was engaged as the DCEO, Director Business Development and was the first Senior Complex Project Practitioner in ICCPM. Deborah has a background in commercial management, contracting and procurement, project and program management of capital acquisitions. Deborah has worked on complex projects and programs throughout her 20 year career in the public sector including projects in the Ground Telecommunications Equipment and Guided Weapon Acquisition space, Defence Reform and Smart Sustainment, and Defence Logistics Transformation. She has also been involved in providing advice to government agencies and the Cabinet on the implementation of programs across government. Deborah started her career in the Australian Army where she progressed quickly in the resource management field before making the choice to resign and have a family.
Deborah holds a Graduate Certificate in Public Sector Leadership from Griffith University, an
Executive MBA in Complex Project Management from Queensland University of Technology, and is a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
Deborah has a keen interest and passion for helping others to learn about complexity, systems
thinking, positive interactions and Rugby.
Deborah is a proud KIWI albeit having been a naturalised Australian for many years, the best of both countries!
In her spare time Deborah also runs an Alpaca Breeding business in Murrumbateman.
