Managing Diversity from the Inside and Out
Ericsson takes great pride in the diversity of thought and experience it encourages in its workforce. It passionately endorses the belief that a varied and representative workforce generates a creative and productive environment in which all employees feel equally valued. As part of Ericsson’s goal to continuously embed a culture of diversity and inclusion, it has created a strategy to enable all employees to reach their potential. Two key initiatives include an emerging female leadership development program and a refugee and asylum seeker work placement program. Diane Samaroo and Forum Metpally from Ericsson, Australia and New Zealand will explore the impact these initiatives are having on the culture and individuals at Ericsson and the role they are playing in supporting Ericsson’s diversity and inclusion goals.
