Risky Business: the art and neuroscience of leading in high-risk situations

The Risky Business Project maps decision-making processes from frontline, and elite and extreme sports where poor choices are life-threatening, and transfers those high performance, embodied-thinking processes to people who work under pressure in modern business.

Using contemporary findings from neuroscience, neurolinguistics, performance psychology, and complexity, we can unpack the embodied thinking and learning processes of the risk management elite from diverse fields of endeavour. We can then rapidly train business leaders and managers how to make better decisions when the risks are high, and the operating environment is complex – without the need to be an extreme athlete or frontline operator.
